WEB DESK: The Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, globally celebrated and highly sought after, is a flagship device that many desire in 2024.
However, purchasing this model in Pakistan—where it could cost up to Rs700,000 after PTA approval—may not be the best decision at this time.
Apple traditionally releases its new models in mid-September, and this year is no exception. The tech giant is expected to unveil the highly anticipated iPhone 16 next month.
With just a few weeks left until its official launch, the iPhone 16 is generating significant buzz, especially considering rumours that suggest it will have a larger screen and new features compared to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 is expected to offer a bigger screen, a new capture button, and possibly a new colour option. Given these potential upgrades, it might be wiser to wait for the iPhone 16 rather than spending a substantial amount on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
While the exact price of the iPhone 16 is still unknown, reports indicate that it could be priced between Rs600,000 to Rs800,000 in Pakistan, depending on the model and memory capacity.
Some sources suggest it might be slightly cheaper, around Rs570,000, but it’s unclear if this includes PTA approval costs. The PTA approval fee for the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to be similar to that of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, potentially reaching up to Rs180,000.
These are still speculations, and the official prices for the iPhone 16 models will be confirmed within the next 30 days.
With the iPhone 16 launch so close, spending up to Rs630,000 or more on the iPhone 15 Pro Max now might not be the most prudent choice. Once the new model is released, attention will swiftly shift, and you might regret investing in an older model at such a high price.
