LAHORE: A Ganga Ram hospital employee has been arrested and dismissed from his job for attempting to assault a five-year-old girl sexually.
According to the mother of the girl, a hospital employee Abid was attempting to sexually assault her five-year-old daughter when she arrived and caught the perpetrator in the act. Her (the mothers) shouting and screening attracted the crowd, and onlookers beat the suspect.

The Medical Superintendent (MS) of Ganga Ram Hospital, Dr. Hafiz Moin, confirmed that upon learning of the incident, the employee, identified as Abid, was immediately dismissed from the job and handed over to the police for legal action.
Meanwhile in response to the incident, the Young Doctors Association (YDA) held a protest, with female doctors and nurses expressing their outrage and demanding justice for the victim.
