LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced the rescheduling of the 9th class (SSC Part-I) exams originally set for September 17, 2024, in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
According to the notification from BISE (Lahore), exams for subjects including education, history, food and nutrition, Al-Quran, geometry, and technical drawing will now take place on September 19.

The decision was made due to the gazetted holiday for the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee confirmed that the 12th of Rabiul Awwal, marking Eid Milad-un-Nabi, will be observed on September 17, as the moon was not sighted on September 4.
