TEL AVIV: Israel and the US have agreed to end war in Gaza in two weeks, Israeli media reported, as US President Donald Trump pushes for peace in the volatile Middle East.
It was Israel Hayom, which first reported the development, while citing a source. It said US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister had contacted on phone after the ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
Meanwhile, it seems that expanding the Abraham Accords is the main objective, which enabled Trump to convince Netanyahu.
Reason is simple. No other Arab state can be asked to recognize Israel at a time when the Palestinians are being slaughtered in Gaza.
The plan, according to Israel Hayom, suggests that four Arab states, including the UAE and Egypt, would jointly govern the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the Hamas is to be exiled and all the Israeli hostages would be released.
