Riots break out in India over animal remains found outside temple – HUM News


RAJASTHAN: A riot erupted after animal remains were allegedly discovered outside a temple in India on Sunday.

Footage shows a large crowd gathered at Parshuram Chauraha in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, on Monday, August 26, to protest over the incident.

Demonstrators condemned the act and demanded ‘bulldozer action’ against the accused’s property, along with the immediate arrest of those responsible.

The police used a lathi charge to disperse the crowd.

Protesters insisted on arrests within two days. After the police provided assurances, the group disbanded.

Superintendent of Police Rajan Dushyant urged the public to remain calm and requested shopkeepers to resume normal business.

A significant police presence has been deployed at Parshuram Chauraha to ensure peace and order.

The community reportedly gathered after a social media message spread, inviting them to the circle yesterday at around 11:30 AM.

Authorities also conducted a flag march through the city streets to maintain peace in the area.
