Why Samsung Pakistan is offering up to Rs82,000 off on smartphones

ISLAMABAD: Samsung Pakistan is once again offering an attractive discount on some of its mid-range and flagship smartphones. The discount applies to select models from the A, S, and Z series, but not the entire range.

For some, this may seem like a bargain; however, the reason behind the discount might be that the company wants to clear old stock to make way for new models.

For example, Samsung recently reduced the price of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, likely because the company was preparing to introduce the latest Galaxy S25 series.

Samsung has reduced the price of the Galaxy A55 5G by Rs10,000 to Rs129,999, and it is currently available on the Samsung Pakistan website in four colours. The phone was previously priced at Rs139,999.

Secondly, the company has reduced the price of the Galaxy A35 5G model by Rs17,000 to Rs102,999, down from its earlier price of Rs119,999. The Galaxy A25 5G is now priced at Rs73,500 after a discount of Rs25,000, as it was earlier priced at Rs98,500.

The Samsung S24 FE is now listed on the website for Rs205,999 after a discount of Rs14,000, reduced from Rs219,999.

The Samsung S24 Ultra’s 256 GB variant is now down to Rs389,999 after a discount of Rs45,000 from its earlier price of Rs434,999.

The S24 Ultra’s 512 GB variant has been reduced by Rs64,000 to Rs405,999, compared to its earlier price of Rs469,999. The 1TB variant is now available for Rs459,999 after its price was reduced by Rs82,000 from its previous tag of Rs541,999.

The price of the Z Fold 6 (512 GB variant) has also witnessed a massive cut of Rs82,000, now priced at Rs522,999 compared to its earlier price of Rs604,999.

Moreover, the Z Flip 6’s price has been reduced by Rs54,000 to Rs330,999, down from its earlier price of Rs384,999.

The discount on the S24 series seems understandable, as Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 series in Pakistan. The company has updated its website, which now features a large image of the Galaxy S25 Ultra along with its details and specs.

However, it seems Samsung has yet to finalise the pricing for the Galaxy S25 Ultra and other models in the Galaxy S25 series.
