Samsung reportedly developing a ‘Slim’ variant of Galaxy S25 – HUM News

WEB DESK: Samsung is reportedly working on a new variant of Galaxy S lineup with rumours suggesting the release of a “Slim” version of Galaxy S25 which will feature some of the latest advanced technologies including a high-performing camera system, despite its sleek design.

Recent leaks hint that the Galaxy S25 Slim could be equipped with three powerful cameras, including a main 200MP sensor, which is notable for a phone that could become the thinnest Galaxy S model ever produced.

Updated reports now claim that in addition to the 200MP main camera, the device might also feature two other high-resolution cameras.

Galaxy S25 Slim’s expected camera setup

– 200 MP 1/1.56 ISOCELL HP5 wide camera

– 50 MP 1/2.76 ISOCELL JN5 ultra-wide camera

– 50 MP 1/2.76 ISOCELL JN5 telephoto camera with 3.5x zoom

These cameras might incorporate Samsung’s recently revealed ALoP (All Lens on Prism) technology which is designed to make lenses more compact without sacrificing image quality, potentially accommodating the thin profile of the phone.

The ISOCELL HP5 sensor which has been rumoured for a while but not yet been officially launched adding some uncertainty about its inclusion.

Last year, it was speculated that this 200MP sensor would debut in the Galaxy Z Fold 7, but the details were different from the current rumours surrounding the Galaxy S25 Slim.

It’s also worth noting that if the Galaxy S25 Slim is real, it may not be announced alongside the main Galaxy S25 series in January but might be revealed later in the year. Only time will tell how accurate these rumours are.
