PUBG Mobile 4.0 Spooky Soiree update out tomorrow – HUM News

KARACHI: PUBG Mobile has announced the rollout of its Version 4.0 Spooky Soiree update, bringing a ghostly twist to the game with a new mode, fresh weapons and smoother performance.

“The update should be available to all players by September 4 at 11:00 (UTC+0)”, PUBG Mobile said in a statement on Wednesday.

4.0 Spooky Soiree update features

At the heart of the update is a haunted mansion mode where players are joined by a ghostly companion named Ghostie.

Those knocked out of the game can return as “Prankster Ghosts”, a feature that allows them to keep supporting their teammates instead of waiting on the sidelines.

The mode can be played on Erangel, Livik and Rondo maps.

New weapons

PUBG has also introduced the Mortar, a compact weapon that fits into the pistol slot but can deliver long-range strikes.

Firearm animations and recoil systems have been fine-tuned to make combat feel more realistic, while areas like Lipovka park in Erangel have been redesigned for a fresh look.

Graphics

A major change comes in the form of “Super Smooth Graphics”, a new setting meant to cut down on lag and overheating while delivering higher frame rates.

Developers say this should make the game more stable on mid-range devices, a long-standing concern among players.

AI tools

For those who enjoy creating custom maps, the World of Wonder platform has been expanded with AI editing tools, seasonal rewards and competitive events that include cash prizes.

Season 26 is also set to begin on September 11, bringing new rewards and a reshuffled tier system.

The update is rounded off with tweaks to vehicle handling, clan management and anti-cheat detection, as well as small social features aimed at making the game more interactive.
