WEB DESK: Samsung has finally released the W25 in China. For those confused, it’s the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition designed only for Chinese market. Samsung’s W25 beauty was recently seen in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
While both phones look almost identical, the W25 is a bit more classy. It’s almost like a more premium version of an existing premium smartphone.
The W25’s special features include a ceramic back panel with a unique mirror-like finish and a bolder colour scheme featuring a gold frame.
Apart from the fact that this reflective ceramic back might become a fingerprint magnet after use, it looks stunning.
Interestingly, Samsung has not used ceramic for a phone’s finish since the release of its S10 series, making the new W25 much more appealing. But leaving aesthetic differences aside, the W25 and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition share same shape and features.
The company has officially released these two phones in South Korea and China. It is available in Korea but in limited quantities. Even if you’d want to order one, it wouldn’t be easy as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition sold out twice in record time.
The best option is to wait for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 to go on sales in 2025 or buy the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6.
