The initial contingent arrived at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport and was swiftly escorted to their hotel under stringent security arrangements. The remaining members of the touring party are scheduled to land later this morning, as preparations intensify for the first Test.

Squad Details:

The Proteas squad features a strong lineup of experienced and emerging players. Alongside top-order batter Aiden Markram, the squad includes pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada, all-rounder Wiaan Mulder, middle-order batsmen Zubayr Hamza and David Bedingham, and young fast bowler Corbin Bosch. The touring side is accompanied by a full coaching and support staff.

Ticketing Update:

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially launched online ticket sales for the Pakistan-South Africa Test series. According to APP, cricket fans can now reserve their seats through the official website: pcb.tcs.com.pk.

Entry for the Test matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi will be free of cost, aiming to encourage maximum spectator turnout. However, for the T20Is and ODIs, ticket prices will start from PKR 400, offering affordable access to fans across the country.

The two-Test series kicks off on October 12 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, followed by the second Test from October 20–24 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. In preparation, Pakistan has trimmed its squad from 18 to 16 players, releasing fast bowler Amir Jamal and spinner Faisal Akram ahead of the first match.
