PCB announces Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan T20I Tri-Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced a T20I tri-nation series featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan, set to take place from November 17 to 29, 2025. This will be the first time Pakistan hosts a T20I tri-series on its home soil.

The upcoming tournament will be held across two venues – Rawalpindi and Lahore. The opening match is scheduled for November 17, featuring Pakistan against Afghanistan in Rawalpindi.

Following this, Sri Lanka will face Afghanistan on November 19 at the same venue. Notably, this tournament will mark Afghanistan’s first-ever T20 International played on Pakistani soil.

The remaining five matches, including the final, will be hosted in Lahore.
The final is scheduled for November 29 at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium.

PCB’s Chief Operating Officer, Salman Naseer, called the tri-series an “excellent opportunity” for preparations ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
