ISLAMABAD: A woman and her two daughters were deprived of cash and gold during a daylight robbery in front of Islamabad’s F-9 Park.
According to an FIR registered with the Margalla Police Station, the suspects fled with Rs2 million cash and 10 Tolas of gold at gunpoint.
Hajra Khatak and her daughters were seated in their car at a fast-food restaurant near F-9 Park when the incident occurred.
Four people pulled up in a car and snatched the cash and gold from the woman at gunpoint.
When the woman resisted, the gunmen threatened her and her daughters with severe consequences, and they were also beaten. They also ripped one of her daughter’s clothes.

A case has been registered at the Margalla Police Station on the woman’s complaint, police said.
According to the victim, upon resistance, the suspect and his accomplices assaulted her and her daughters.
The incident was caught on CCTV camera.
The incident took place on February 23, and the case has been registered, police said.
This incident follows a recent wave of crime in the capital, with four bank robberies reported at gunpoint in October last year, raising concerns about public safety and the need for increased security measures.
