WEB DESK: Dry weather will dominate most parts of the country on Monday, with chilly conditions expected during the morning and night in hilly areas, predicts Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). However, in the coastal regions of Sindh and Makran, there is likelihood of isolated rain accompanied by dusty winds and thunderstorms during the afternoon.

Going region by region, PMD predicts a dry day for the capital and its surrounding areas.
Punjab is expected to experience hot and dry conditions across most districts as well.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain dry as well, though hilly areas could see colder mornings and nights. There is also a possibility of isolated thundershowers in places such as Chitral, Dir, and nearby regions.
Meanwhile, in Sindh, the weather will stay hot and dry in most districts. However, areas like Tharparkar, Nagarparkar, Umarkot, Mithi, Badin, Karachi, Thatta, Sajawal, Hyderabad, and their surroundings may experience dusty winds and thunderstorms at a few locations.

Balochistan is similarly forecast to remain hot and dry, but rain accompanied by thundershowers and dusty winds is expected in some coastal districts during the afternoon.
In Kashmir, dry and cold conditions are anticipated, while Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to see dry to partly cloudy weather, with the possibility of rain at isolated places.
