Meanwhile, the rains caused multiple disruptions across the region. The land connection between Skardu district and Gilgit was severed by landslides.

According to a statement issued by the DC Office Gilgit, a landslide occurred on the Jaglot-Skardu Road at Shatot Haramosh, blocking the road. Due to continuous rainfall, the road is currently impassable. Clearing operations will commence once the rain stops.

To ensure safety, tourists and travelers are advised to avoid using this route until further notice. The road will be reopened once it is deemed safe for traffic.

In Kharmang district, the G-B Disaster Management Authority (GBDMA) reported multiple road blockages. The Kharmang Road was blocked near Baghicha Kharmang Khas due to a landslide.
