Two Dolphin Force constables suspended for posting content in uniform – HUM News

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have suspended two constables for sharing inappropriate content on social media while in uniform, in clear violation of departmental policy.

According to an official statement on Wednesday, Constable Aftab Ahmed of the Dolphin Squad and Constable Ehtesham Aslam of Rescue 15 were found posting videos on social media that breached the police code of conduct. The content reportedly gained widespread attention online, prompting swift disciplinary action.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad Police, Jawad Tariq, took immediate notice and ordered both officers suspended and reassigned to Rescue 15 as part of internal proceedings. The DIG stressed that Islamabad Police is a professional and disciplined force, and any behaviour that harms its credibility or public trust will not be tolerated.

A formal inquiry into the matter is now underway, and further action will be taken based on its outcome. Meanwhile, all police personnel have been reminded to observe strict discipline and use social media responsibly to uphold the department’s integrity.
