Passengers protest as fog disrupts train, air operations
Wazir Asad Ali, the Public Relations Officer for Rescue 1122, confirmed to HUM News English that an injured woman had been rescued, and two bodies had been recovered from the scene. The search for the missing passengers remains ongoing.
Rescue efforts are facing significant challenges due to the coaster’s remains being lodged in the middle of the river, making access difficult. Reinforcements, including additional rescue teams and a crane from Gilgit, have been called in to aid the operation.
