LAHORE: Three children of the same family have drowned in River Ravi in Lahore’s Sanda locality while playing along the riverbank.
According to Rescue 1122, the victims were between six and nine years old. The rescue team launched an emergency operation after receiving the distress call and managed to recover the bodies from the river.

Unfortunately, all three had already passed away by the time they were found.
The deceased were identified as 6-year-old Naseebullah, 7-year-old Ameer Hamza, and 9-year-old Qudratullah.
Officials said the children were playing and wandered too close to the river before the tragedy struck.
After the necessary formalities, the bodies were handed over to the family.
The incident caused grief and panic in the area, with many residents gathering at the scene.
