THARPARKAR: One tourist drowned as a group of 12 tourists got trapped in a flash flood near the Karoonjhar hills during a visit to the Maya Dam area.
According to police, 11 tourists were rescued safely while the body of one drowned tourist was recovered.
Police said the deceased tourist belonged to Karachi and was swept away by the strong current while bathing in the dam.

Timely action by Nagarparkar police and local residents helped save the other 11 individuals.
Due to heavy rain, water levels in the area have risen dangerously. Authorities have advised citizens to avoid visiting hilly and water reservoir areas during the monsoon season.
