Aurangzeb met with flood victims in relief camps, assuring them of continued support from the provincial leadership. “Your sister, daughter and mother Maryam Nawaz has sent me to you in your distress,” she told survivors. “God willing, she will compensate you for your loss.”

Relief efforts are ongoing, with food, dry rations, tents, and other essential items being delivered to hard-to-reach areas. “Tents and relief goods are reaching even the inner areas of Sayatpur,” Aurangzeb confirmed.

Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s instructions, the district administration has begun assessing the damage caused by the floods. “Every flood-affected person’s loss will be calculated,” the senior minister said, reiterating the government’s commitment to rehabilitation.

Flood victims expressed appreciation for the government’s presence and support. “Nawaz Sharif himself came to us during the last floods, and today his daughter has sent help again,” said one resident.

Aurangzeb reiterated that her visit was on behalf of the entire leadership. “I have been sent to you by Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz,” she said, vowing that the government would continue to stand by the affected communities.
