ISLAMABAD: Robbers attempted to loot a bank cash van near the I-9 police station in Islamabad on Monday, resulting in gunfire that left a security guard injured.
According to the police, masked robbers on a motorbike attempted to steal cash from an armored car and started firing.
The guard returned fire, forcing the robbers to flee the scene.
The injured guard was shifted to a hospital for treatment, police added.
