Rawalpindi metro bus service temporarily suspended – HUM News


RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Metro Bus service has been completely suspended from Saddar Station to Faizabad due to track repair, according to the administration.

Meanwhile, the Metro Bus service from Islamabad’s IJP Road to the Pak Secretariat will continue without disruption.

The administration assures that the Rawalpindi route will resume as soon as the repairs are completed.

The rehabilitation of the Rawalpindi Metro Bus service route, which costs Rs. 718.945 million, is expected to be completed by December.

So far, six out of 20 designated sites have been completed, including parts of the Shamsabad, Rehmanabad, Waris Khan, and Liaquat Bagh bus stations.
