RAW behind Jaffar Express attack: Sikh leader – HUM News

ISLAMABAD: Sikh for Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has alleged that India’s intelligence agency, RAW, was behind the attack on the Jaffar Express, accusing New Delhi of waging a covert war against Pakistan.

On Tuesday afternoon, Jaffar Express enroute Peshawar came under an armed attack of banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). Inter-Services Public Relations Director General (DG ISPR) Lt-Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Wednesday said that the operation against the terrorists who attacked the Jaffer Express had been successfully completed. A total of 33 terrorists were killed, while 21 passengers were martyred before the operation began; four Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers also embraced martyrdom during the operation.

In a statement, Pannun said that India is actively implementing a secret war strategy against Pakistan and called on international organisations to take action against India’s National Security Advisor and RAW officials. He warned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is engaged in violent international repression, with its intelligence operations posing a significant threat to regional stability.

“The attack on Jaffar Express is evidence of India’s aggressive defense doctrine,” Pannun said, adding that New Delhi seeks to destabilise its neighbouring countries through covert terrorist activities. He further accused India of being involved in extremism and cross-border terrorism.

Pannun also alleged that Modi has turned India into a global hub for state-sponsored terrorism, with RAW’s unchecked activities putting South Asia at risk. He urged the international community to impose diplomatic and security sanctions on India’s intelligence apparatus.

“The world can no longer turn a blind eye to India’s secret terrorist operations,” he stated. “If India is not held accountable, its next attack will claim even more lives.”
