In a series of statements, Rana Sanaullah also addressed the recent tensions along Pakistan’s western border, with Afghanistan. He said that the “hideouts of the agents of ‘Modi’s Operation Sindoor’ were operational in the neighboring country” and that Pakistan’s army responded effectively to aggression originating from Afghanistan.
He said that began yesterday from Afghanistan, adding that Pakistan’s armed forces were fully prepared to defend the country. He noted that the neighboring country had been repeatedly warned. The military’s response had been swift and decisive, he said, adding, “Once again, the entire nation got a chance to be proud of its forces”.
Sanaullah also expressed his appreciation for the leadership of Pakistan’s military in these challenging times. “The courageous decisions of the Field Marshal in the battle for justice made the nation proud,” he said. “The entire nation is currently standing by the armed forces.”
On the domestic front, Sanaullah reiterated the importance of national unity. He welcomed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s invitation to all political parties to come together for the ‘Pact for the Stability of Pakistan.’ He also stressed that the country needs internal stability more than ever, and that all political forces should unite in this critical moment. “Opposition parties, we once again invite you to support us for the stability of Pakistan,” he urged.
Addressing the opposition, Sanaullah posed the question, “You have to decide whether you stand with Pakistan or with Afghanistan.” He called on the political leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to stand in solidarity with the country, urging the party to support the national cause while maintaining its narrative. “PTI should support this mission for the stability of Pakistan,” he added.

Referring to a TLP’s Gaza March, Sanaullah advised that they either end or postpone their demonstrations. “When the country is responding to its enemies, the religious party should end its protest,” he said, calling for national focus in these critical times.
Sanaullah said, “how long will we continue to carry the funerals of our young sons under the guise of terrorism?” He reiterated that the military’s response to Afghanistan’s aggression had been effective and that the nation should prioritise its security and stability.
