Punjab board to announce intermediate part-1 result on Oct 15 – HUM News

ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has approved the announcement of Intermediate Part-I results on October 15 across the Punjab province.

According to the approval, over 200,000 students from the Lahore Board participated in the annual 11th-grade exams. The results will be declared on the same date by all educational boards in the province, including those in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan, Sahiwal, DG Khan, and Bahawalpur, where large numbers of students appeared.

Once the results are announced, students will be able to check their results on the official websites of the boards, as well as through SMS services. The results are expected to be released at 10 AM on Wednesday, according to the official statement.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has decided to implement anti-harassment committees in all public schools. Authorities have already been instructed to ensure a safe educational environment for all female students.

Anti-harassment committees will be established in all government schools, including primary, elementary, secondary, and higher institutions. Each committee will consist of at least three teachers, with at least one female teacher required.

These committees will handle harassment complaints confidentially and effectively, ensuring full protection for complainants and a fair inquiry process. The committees will submit detailed reports to the Department of Education Authority (DEA), and schools have been directed to submit the list of these committees to the DEA within 30 days.
