LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly session that was set to take place on Monday was canceled.
A spokesperson for the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly confirmed that the order issued on December 5 was revoked.
A new date for the assembly session will be announced soon.

Punjab Assembly Speaker, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, was supposed to convene the 19th session of the provincial assembly on Monday at 2 pm.
The session was called at the request of the Opposition, and the Assembly Secretariat had begun issuing formal notifications regarding the meeting.
The agenda was expected to include discussions on various issues and demands raised by the Opposition.
