ISLAMABAD: The District Magistrate of Islamabad has granted conditional permission for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public rally in Islamabad.
The district magistrate has issued a notification outlining 40 specific instructions for the rally organisers. According to this notification, the administration will provide security for the rally scheduled for September 8.
The NOC for August 22 was cancelled by the Islamabad administration due to protests by religious groups.
The notification stipulates that the rally must not infringe upon the fundamental rights of any citizen. Participants are to gather at 4pm and the rally must conclude by 7pm.
The notification added that the responsibility of the rally organisers to ensure that participants are dispersed promptly after the event.
The notification specifies that no sticks or any form of weapons are allowed. Protests against state institutions or speeches criticizing them are prohibited.

The organisers will be fully responsible for the safety of the participants. A list of attendees for the stage must be provided to the administration 12 hours in advance. The NOC for the rally may be revoked in case of any security issues.
