PM&DC makes pre-hoc paper review mandatory for MDCAT 2025 – HUM News

WEB DESK: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has made a pre-hoc review of MDCAT 2025 exam papers mandatory to ensure transparency and alignment with the approved syllabus. The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025 is scheduled to be held on October 26, the council announced on Monday.

According to PM&DC, a total of 140,125 candidates have registered for the exam, which will be conducted across 35 test centres nationwide and one international centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The test will be conducted by public universities rather than PM&DC directly.

The council has already provided exam policy, structure, and access to the National Item Bank to all participating universities. It has instructed them to strictly maintain paper quality, confidentiality, and security during the preparation and printing process.

Universities are required to conduct a pre-hoc analysis of the question papers to eliminate any out-of-syllabus questions. PM&DC has also emphasized that question papers will only be opened in the presence of official witnesses to prevent any breach of security.

Admit cards will be issued to candidates seven days before the test, while universities must release official results within seven days after the exam.
