ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has left for a one-day official visit to Karachi on Wednesday morning.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah will receive the Prime Minister upon his arrival.
During the visit, PM Shehbaz will be briefed on the ongoing development projects in Sindh. He is also scheduled to meet leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
The Prime Minister will visit the South Asia Pakistan Terminal at Karachi Port Trust.

Additionally, he will inaugurate the automated customs clearance system of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
PM Shehbaz will also visit the Pakistan Stock Exchange during his visit to Karachi and participate as the chief guest in an event at Aga Khan University.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ata Tarar, Ali Pervaiz Malik, and Mukhtar Ahmed are accompanying the Prime Minister on this visit.
