ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the recent attack on former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle in London and ordered immediate legal action against the culprits
The incident, which also involved an attack on a Pakistan High Commission vehicle, has drawn intense criticism from Pakistan’s government, sparking a call for strict measures.
Speaking to media on Wednesday, Naqvi condemned the “alarming and unfortunate” incident against the former chief justice.
He directed NADRA to expedite the identification process using CCTV footage, warning that once identified, the attackers’ passports and ID cards will be blocked. He further ordered that an FIR be registered in Pakistan to initiate official proceedings against those involved.

“Revoking the attackers’ citizenship is also under consideration,” Naqvi stated, adding that the matter would soon be submitted to the Cabinet for final approval.
“We cannot allow such behavior to go unchecked. This incident is an affront not only to our justice system but to Pakistan’s sovereignty.”
Naqvi also questioned why security arrangements for Isa, who has faced numerous threats in the past, were not adequately provided by UK authorities, adding that diplomatic channels will be used to ensure a thorough investigation.
