ISLAMABAD: Pakistan clinched the gold medal in the Asian Under-16 Volleyball Championship after defeating Iran 3-2 in a thrilling final on Saturday.
In a dramatic showdown, the Pakistani team staged a remarkable comeback after losing the first two sets, ultimately sealing victory in the decisive fifth set with a score of 15-10.

The final, which kept fans on the edge of their seats, saw Pakistan bounce back with grit and determination to claim the title and finish the tournament unbeaten.
Pakistan had qualified for the final of the Asian U-16 Volleyball Championship after defeating arch-rivals India in straight sets in the semi-final on Friday.

The national team dominated the match, winning the first three sets with scores of 16-19, 25-25, and 12-25 to secure their place in the title clash.
Pakistan’s U-16 team remained unbeaten throughout the championship, held in Thailand.
In their earlier matches, Pakistan overpowered South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, and Iran.
