NUSHKI: Details have emerged regarding the explosion in Nuski reported earlier this morning. According to security sources, banned organisation Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) carried out a suicide bombing attack on Frontier Constabulary (FC) convoy.
The blast resulted in the martyrdom of three FC soldiers along with two civilians. Security forces retaliated forcefully and effectively, and killed three accomplices along with the suicide bomber in counter-attack, security sources said.
Explosion reported on N-40 Nushki
Security forces are conducting a clearance operation in the area, security sources added.
ATTACK ON NATIONAL HIGHWAY N-40 IN NUSHKI
Earlier on Sunday, an explosion was reported on National Highway N-40 in Nushki district of Balochistan.
Police officials reached the area to conduct investigation. The area was also cordoned off after the explosion.
The police sources later informed that the attack occurred on Pak-Iran Highway N-40. Emergency was imposed in the Teaching Hospital after the explosion.
