RAHIM YAR KHAN: The by-elections for the NA-171 constituency in Rahim Yar Khan has so far produced uncertain unofficial results from 251 polling stations.
Makdhdoom Tahir Rashiduddin, representing the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), is currently is currently in the lead. The PPP candidate secured 96,190 votes based on preliminary count.

In second place is Hasan Mustafa, representing Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) with a total of 46,767 votes.
These figures are unofficial, and the final result is still pending as the counting process continues.
Earlier reports from 245 polling stations indicated that Makhdoom Tahir Rashiduddin was also leading with 92,294 votes. Whereas, PTI’s Hasan Mustafa had received 45,584 votes.
