List of sugar mills that exported sugar in 2024-25 revealed – HUM News


ISLAMABAD: As the Auditor General of Pakistan told the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Tuesday that sugar mills raked in a Rs300 billion in profit due to recent fluctuation in sugar prices in Pakistan, a list of sugar mills that exported sugar between July 2024 and June 2025 has been released.

According to documents, a total of 67 sugar mills exported sugar worth $400 million during this period.

Among them, JDW Sugar Mills topped the list with the export of 73.09 million kilograms of sugar worth Rs11.1 billion.

JK Sugar Mills exported 29,969 metric tonnes worth Rs4,089 million. JDW and JK Sugar Mills, owned by billionaire Jahangir Tareen, collectively exported sugar worth over Rs15 billion.

Similarly, Tandlianwala Sugar Mills exported 41.41 million kilograms and Hamza Sugar Mills exported 32.48 million kilograms of sugar.

Tandlianwala Sugar Mills exported 41,412 metric tonnes worth Rs5.98 billion, and Hamza Sugar Mills exported 32,486 metric tonnes worth Rs5.03 billion.

Thal Industries Corporation Limited exported 29.10 million kilograms, and Almoiz Industries exported 29.45 million kilograms.

, Madina Sugar Mills exported 18,869 metric tonnes worth Rs2,787 million, Fatima Sugar Mills exported 17,365 metric tonnes worth Rs2,684 million, Deharki Sugar Mills exported 16,533 metric tonnes worth Rs2,447 million, and Ramzan Sugar Mills exported 16,116 metric tonnes worth Rs2,413 million.

Indus Sugar Mills exported 14,047 metric tonnes of sugar worth Rs2,103 million, Ashraf Sugar Mills exported 11,317 metric tonnes worth Rs1,669 million, Shakarganj Limited exported 7,867 metric tonnes worth Rs1,128 million, Unicol Limited exported 6,857 metric tonnes worth Rs1,019 million, and Habib Sugar Mills exported 6,253 metric tonnes worth Rs960 million.

Ramzan Sugar Mills, owned by the sons of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, exported sugar worth Rs2.41 billion.
