Lahore police registers kidnapping case of YouTuber Aun Ali Khosa – HUM News


LAHORE: Lahore police have registered a case regarding the abduction of YouTuber Aun Ali Khosa, who has gone missing since August 15 after he released a sarcastic song on Independence Day.

The abduction case was registered at Achhra Police Station, Lahore, based on a complaint filed by Aun Ali Khosa’s wife, Benish Iqbal. The FIR states that on August 15, at 2 pm, unknown individuals entered their home and abducted Aun Ali Khosa.

According to the FIR, the abductors also took a laptop, computer, and camera with them.

In her complaint, Aun Ali Khosa’s wife has demanded that her husband be recovered as soon as possible.

Two days ago, Justice Shehbaz Rizvi of the Lahore High Court heard a petition filed by Benish Iqbal. Lawyers Mian Ali Ashfaq and Khadija Siddiqui represented the petitioner in court. On theoccasion, the Lahore High Court ordered the CCPO Lahore to locate and retrieve YouTuber Aun Ali Khosa and present him in court by August 20.

Aun Ali’s YouTube channel has 139K subscribers. The YouTuber on Pakistam’s Independence Day released a parody song ‘Bill Bill’ Pakistan. The video criticised the government for increasing taxes, fuel and electricity prices.
