ISLAMABAD: The business and traders’ community of Islamabad has filed a petition in the court against the anticipated PTI protest on November 24.
President Jinnah Super Market Asad Aziz has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court against the PTI protest terming it as against the rights of the public.
Interior Ministry, Chief Commissioner, District Magistrate, IG Islamabad and Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar have been made respondents.
Conducting peaceful business and other duties is the right of every citizen and this protest negates the basic human rights, says the petition.

The administration should be directed to stop the PTI workers from this protest, the petition stated.
Islamabad traders also urged the PTI protest to be declared a violation of trade freedom and basic human rights.
PTI founder Imran Khan has called for a nationwide protest on November 24 to press for his demands.
Earlier many traders who are already struggling to keep their businesses intact due to the economic challenged have rejected the PTI call for protest and said that protests hamper their businesses and even one day of closure causes them a great loss.
They said political matters should be settled in the assembly and not on roads.
Meanwhile the government is considering partially suspending the internet and mobile services in anticipation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) protest on November 24 in Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Interior sources, if the go ahead is given the disruptions will begin on November 23 (Saturday) and may impact various districts of Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab.
