Islamabad police arrests notorious robbers – HUM News


ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police, from the Noon police station, have arrested two members of the gang that have been involved in multiple robberies and incidents of injuring citizens for resisting.

The gang has been operating in multiple cities including Islamabad, Lahore and Faisalabad. The police have also recovered three motorcycles, mobile phone, cash and weapons from the arrested.

Three motorcycles worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, mobile phones, cash and weapons were recovered from the possession of the arrested.

The police revealed that the arrested individuals used to rob passers-by, shopkeepers, ATM withdrawers and general citizens including women at gunpoint, on motorcycles.

If the victims resisted, the accused would open fire at them, the police said.

Smog: Punjab announces school closures in five more districts

Multiple cases have been registered against these criminals in multiple police stations.

Islamabad DIG Syed Ali Raza said that all legal requirements will be fulfilled to punish the accused. Large-scale operations are being implemented against organised and active gangs, he added.
