WEB DESK: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Friday announced a temporary traffic diversion plan for Shahin Chowk on Margalla Road due to ongoing construction work in the area. The plan will be in effect on October 25 (today) from 4pm to 7pm.
According to an ITP spokesperson, motorists travelling from E-11 have been advised to turn onto DCI Road, proceed to F-10 Service Road, and then use Jinnah Avenue to reach their destinations. Similarly, commuters heading from Ninth Avenue towards Margalla Road have been directed to take a right turn from Gate No. 5 of F-9 Park and continue via F-8 Park Road.
Those travelling from Margalla Road to F-10 have been advised to turn left from Faisal Chowk towards Jinnah Avenue or take the route via PN Zafar Chowk, F-8, and Ali Medical Centre Park Road to reach Jinnah or Ninth Avenue.
The ITP said personnel have been deployed at key points to ensure smooth traffic flow. Citizens have been requested to cooperate with traffic officials and contact the ITP helplines — Pukar-15 or 1915 — in case of any inconvenience during the diversion.
