Islamabad airport first in Pakistan to aid persons with invisible disabilities – HUM News


ISLAMABAD: Islamabad International Airport becomes first Pakistani airport to facilitate people with invisible disabilities. The airport will now offer special facilities to passenger with mental disorders.

Airport Manager Aftab Gilani said that the Islamabad International airport will issue Special Sunflower Ribbon to people with invisible disabilities. Passengers with sunflower landyard will be provided preferential facilities at every counter.

The facility aims to accommodate children with autism and other mental disorders in a better way. Gilani said that all airlines have been informed about the special facility.
