WEB DESK: The weather across most parts of the country is expected to remain hot and dry on Wednesday, predicts Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). However, in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, partly cloudy skies with strong winds and thundershowers are anticipated in a few areas.

In Islamabad and surrounding regions, the weather is likely to stay dry, says PMD.
Punjab will also experience hot and dry conditions across most districts, though Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas may see partly cloudy skies.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is forecast to remain dry in most districts, except for Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, and Kohistan, where there is a chance of gusty winds and thundershowers.
In Sindh, the weather will be hot and dry, particularly in the northern districts, while the southern districts are expected to remain partly cloudy.

Likewise, Balochistan will also see hot and dry conditions, with a possibility of thundershowers in Gwadar, Pasni, Jiwani, Turbat, and surrounding areas.
Kashmir is expected to experience partly cloudy skies, as will Gilgit-Baltistan, where similar conditions are forecast.
