WEB DESK: The country is likely to experience hot and humid weather conditions on Friday, with most regions remaining under the influence of warm temperatures. However, certain areas can expect relief in the form of gusty winds and thundershowers.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the federal capital Islamabad and its surrounding areas will start off warm and humid. However, there is a likelihood of rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers during the evening or night.
Rain predicted across Punjab, KP
In Punjab, hot and humid weather will prevail across most districts. However, several areas including Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Dera Ghazi Khan may experience strong winds and thundershowers.
Similarly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will see predominantly hot and humid weather. Nonetheless, some districts such as Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Buner, Mohmand, Khyber, Bajaur, and Malakand may receive strong winds and thundershowers.
Sindh is expected to remain mostly hot and humid, but there is a chance of rain with strong winds and thunder in parts of Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Mithi, Sanghar, and Khairpur. Coastal areas may see light rain or drizzle.

In Balochistan, hot and humid conditions will dominate, though heavy winds and thundershowers are expected in some areas, including Zhob, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Kalat, Khuzdar, and nearby regions during the evening and night.
In some parts of Kashmir, there is a chance of rain with strong winds and thunder, while Gilgit-Baltistan may also experience isolated thunderstorms and showers.
