Earlier this week, the former premier had his check-up at Punjab Institute of Neurosciences, where doctors conducted an MRI of his neck following complaints of muscular pain.

It may be recalled that Nawaz Sharif had also travelled to London in April and June this year for medical consultations owing to his bad health.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will also travel to Qatar today to attend an emergency session of the Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha.

The summit, co-sponsored by Pakistan, has been convened in response to Israeli airstrikes on Doha, rising tensions in Palestine, and the forced displacement of Palestinians.

Heads of state, governments, and senior officials from OIC member countries are expected to participate in the meeting.

Meanwhile work on the Construction of Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Lahore has started at an estimated cost of Rs. 53 Billion and will be completed in 2026.

This facility will offer a much-needed healthcare solution for cancer patients across the province.
