ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has filed a case against Brigadier (Retired) Musaddiq Abbasi, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Accountability.
The case was registered following a complaint by Judge Humayun Dilawar’s family. It includes charges against the Special Assistant for Accountability, three anti-corruption officials, and four other suspects.
The case was filed under Sections 505, 506, 34, and 109 of the PECA (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act) Law by the FIA Cyber Crime Unit.
Judge Humayun Dilawar’s nephew, Ahmed Dilawar, had requested the FIA to file a defamation case against Brigadier Musaddiq and the anti-corruption officials.

The KP Anti-Corruption Department has already filed a corruption case against Judge Humayun Dilawar and his family members.
An FIR was registered against Judge Humayun Dilawar, his brother Sadiq Dilawar, his father Dilawar Khan, and Registrar Taj Mali Khan for alleged illegal encroachment on government land.
According to Ahmad Sadiq, the Dilawar family’s lawyer, Judge Humayun and his family are being unjustly targeted out of revenge.
Sadiq explained that following all legal procedures, construction of the housing society is taking place on the family’s land.
He also pointed out that development projects, including a bridge in Bannu, were included in the provincial government’s annual development budget.
Sadiq asserted that the Dilawar family is being targeted by the PTI government solely because of the Toshakhana case.
Brigadier Musaddiq Abbasi, speaking to Ham News, stated that arrest warrants have been issued against Judge Humayun Dilawar and his family members based on substantial evidence.
