ISLAMABAD: Cold and cloudy weather conditions will persist in most parts of the country, Islamabad and its surrounding regions are expected to experience freezing weather, according to the Met Department.
In Murree, Galiyat, and nearby areas, the weather will remain icy cold with cloudy skies.
Dense fog is likely to prevail in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, and Mangla, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Okara.
Smog is expected in Sahiwal, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Jhang, and Bhakkar. Additionally, smoggy conditions will affect Layyah, Multan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Heavy fog forces major motorways closure
In Dera Ghazi Khan and its surrounding areas, foggy weather is anticipated.
Smog will also impact Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, and Khairpur.
In Swabi, Mardan, Peshawar, Nowshera, Kohat, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan, foggy weather conditions are expected.
Meanwhile, in Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather will remain extremely cold with partly cloudy skies.
According to the met office in Azad Kashmir there are chances of rain and snowfall in the upper hilly areas.
