ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urging an end to Israeli aggression said that a “cheap copy” of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu exists in our own region as well.
In a reference to India while commenting on the ongoing Middle East situation, Bilawal Bhutto said that a “cheap copy” of Israeli PM Netanyahu exists in our own region as well.
“We have defeated this cheap copy on the battlefield of war, diplomacy, and narrative,” he said while speaking on the floor of the National Assembly on Monday.
He said that Allah has granted Pakistan success on military, diplomatic, and narrative fronts. Israel’s attack on Iran was a violation of international law and sovereignty, he said.
Bilawal alleged that since 1996, Israel has falsely claimed that Iran was close to developing nuclear weapons. Israel dragged the American public into war and committed the same mistake as the 2003 invasion of Iraq based on lies, he said.

Condemning the attack on Iran, Bilawal said that if nuclear material had been present at the targeted sites, the entire region, including Pakistan, could have been affected. He said Israel is now attacking Lebanon, Yemen, Palestine, and Iran, paving the way for a potential World War 3.
PPP’s leaderalso criticized India, stating that its threat to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty is a violation of the UN Charter. He warned that if India builds dams on Pakistan’s three rivers, “we will go to war and ensure that all six rivers are given to Pakistan.”
Bilawal claimed that Indian and Israeli lobbies tried to sabotage Pakistan’s IMF program. He termed Field Marshal Asim Munir’s meeting with Donald Trump at the White House as a diplomatic success, saying, “No defeated army chief is ever invited to such a meeting.”
Lashing out at PTI, Bilawal said the party adopted a weak stance on Kashmir and limited its protest to Friday sermons. He accused PTI of promoting a narrative against national sovereignty.
He added that the people of Pakistan have been battling inflation, poverty, and unemployment, but the government’s measures are now improving the situation.
He concluded that due to sacrifices made by the people and the military, Pakistan is earning global respect.
