KARACHI: The ICC Champions Trophy has reached Karachi, completing the final phase of its Pakistan tour under the supervision of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials.
The trophy will first be taken to a local hotel, with a photo session planned for the evening after which the PCB officials will transport the trophy to the National Stadium.
ICC Champions Trophy: Schedule continues to be delayed
According to the plan, the trophy will be displayed at Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum and Mohatta Palace before being showcased at various public venues for fans.
The trophy’s Pakistan tour began in Islamabad, where it was presented at notable landmarks such as Daman-e-Koh, Faisal Mosque, and Pakistan Monument Museum. It was also taken to several educational institutions and other significant locations.
Earlier, the ICC, influenced by Indian objections, altered the trophy’s Pakistan schedule, canceling visits to Skardu, Hunza, and Muzaffarabad.
