Business Express on bound to Lahore escapes mishap – HUM News


LAHORE: A major accident was averted when the 33 Up Pak Business Express, traveling from Karachi to Lahore, encountered a technical fault near Sahiwal.

According to Railway Police, the Business Express train’s wheel rod broke off as it was leaving the station. Passengers noticed the issue and alerted the driver, who immediately applied emergency brakes to stop the train.

After repairs, the train was cleared for departure and resumed its journey to Lahore.

Meanwhile, the Jaffer Express has resumed operations from Peshawar after being suspended due to an attack.

Railway authorities restored the service, and the train successfully reached Rawalpindi Railway Station.
