KARACHI: Bodies of four women with their throats slit were discovered in an apartment near Zainab Arcade, Banthwa Gali, Lee Market, in Lyari area of Karachi.
According to details, the bodies of the women were found on the seventh floor of an apartment, with clear signs of torture.
The four women, aged between 13 and 51, were killed in separate rooms, with each victim showing signs of a brutal assault.
Rescue officials identified the victims as Alina (13), Madiha (18), Ayesha (19), and Shahnaz (51). The bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital for further investigation.

SSP City Arif Aziz stated that the murders took place while all four women were at home, and the killer fled the scene with the weapon.
The police are working to retrieve CCTV footage from cameras installed in Banthwa Gali to aid the investigation.
Muhammad Farooq, the head of the family, shared that the victims included his wife, daughter, granddaughter, and daughter-in-law. At the time of the crime, both he and his two sons were not home.
“When we arrived, we knocked on the door, but no one answered. My son used a spare key to open the door. We have no suspicions or enmities. We trust the police to investigate and provide justice,” he added.
The police have launched a thorough investigation into the tragic incident.
