ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, Senate opposition leader Shibli Faraz said that the Balochistan incident was an intelligence failure.
While addressing the Senate’s session Shibli Faraz also condemned the recent violence against police officers in Kacha area.
Faraz also expressed concerns about the overall law and order situation in the country, describing it as very poor.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi further commented on Pakistan’s security situation, noting that under such circumstances, it is understandable why potential investors might be deterred from investing in the country.

Earlier today, Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif, charged India with orchestrating recent terrorist incidents in Balochistan. Asif alleged that these attacks were part of a deliberate campaign by India to destabilise Pakistan.
In the most recent surge of violence, a large group of militants linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) carried out multiple attacks across Balochistan at midnight on Sunday. These assaults targeted both security forces and civilians, with a particular focus on individuals from Punjab.
