LAHORE: Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem stated on Saturday that he has no intention of entering politics.
Speaking to journalists in Lahore, the star athlete said that he is committed to the javelin throw and has ambitions to set a new world record.
Nadeem revealed that he plans to compete in the World Athletics Championships in Japan in 2025 and will continue his preparations for the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
He added that he will start training for these upcoming events next month and acknowledged the pressure to perform.

The gold medalist also highlighted that Pakistan has ample talent and stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to advance sports in the country.
