The Adiala Jail superintendent stated that Imran Khan’s diet, health, study and exercise regimens were all ‘meticulously’ monitored. He claimed that former prime minister’s cell was equipped with a reliable power supply to ‘ensure’ his ‘comfort’ during his incarceration.
The in-charge of the notorious prison declared that meals were prepared by the prison cooks in a designated kitchen for Khan. He detailed that Khan’s breakfast consisted of coffee, chia seeds, beetroot, cashews, curd, biscuits and dates.
For lunch, the PTI founder’s menu featured local chicken, mutton, curry pakora, curd, chapati, cold drinks and salad. Meanwhile, Khan’s dinner consisted of porridge, coconut, cashews, and grapes.
The superintendent stated that an assistant superintendent oversaw the kitchen operations to “uphold quality standards”.
The prison in-charge further detailed how the former PM engaged in two hours of exercise daily within the confines of his cell, and that a doctor conducted check-ups up to three times a day!
Imran Khan allegedly also has access to newspapers, allowing him to stay updated on the current events.
